Cookies Policy

I. GENERAL INFORMATION

1. Akati Sp. z o.o. with its registered office at ul. Reymonta 39, 45-072 Opole (hereinafter: the Administrator), pursuant to the provisions of art. 173-174 of the Act of 16 July 2004. Telecommunications law informs about the use of cookies and other similar Internet technologies (such as Web Storage) on the platform available at www.seeplaces.com (hereinafter: the Service).2. Only anonymous statistical data about users are collected using cookies and other Internet technologies. Information obtained through the indicated technologies is not assigned to a specific person and does not allow to identify them.3. Placing and using cookies and other Internet technologies is not harmful to the user's device (i.e. computer, mobile phone or tablet), it does not cause any changes to both the device configuration and installed software and applications.4. The purpose of using the above-mentioned technologies is:1) adapting the content of websites to the user's preferences and optimizing the use of the Service; in particular, cookies allow to recognize the user's device and properly display the website, tailored to his/her individual needs,2) creating analyses, reports and statistics of the use of the Service websites by users, which allows to improve their structure and content,3) presentation of advertisements, including those based on the preferences of the Service user.

II. COOKIES AND OTHER TECHNOLOGIES

1. When using the Service and the Application, small text files are placed on the user's device. By default, these files contain the following information:1) the name of the Service from which the cookie was sent,2) unique number that has been generated,3) file retention time.2. These files can be divided according to the source and the time they are stored on the user's device. The Service uses the following types of files:1) Due to the source of origin:a) so-called first-party cookies - originating from the Service; the name indicating the Administrator's domain is stored in the file,b) so-called third-party cookies - placed via the Service by external entities, which services are used by the Administrator.2) Due to the time for which cookies will be placed on the user's device:a) session cookies, which are created each time after accessing the Service website and deleted when the browser window is closed,b) persistent cookies stored in the user's terminal device for the time specified in the parameters of cookies or until they are deleted by the visitor of the Service.3. Files of external companies (e.g. service providers, business partners or other entities cooperating with the Administrator) are placed on the user's device, in particular:1) to research the activity of anonymous users and on this basis to generate statistics (e.g. using the Google Analytics tool and Yandex Matrica) that help in learning how to use the Service,2) in order to enable the use of third-party services and technologies placed on the Service website,3) in order to achieve the Administrator's own marketing goals.4. The administrator also uses the capabilities of web browsers that can store information in their memory, including the following technologies to store data:1) IndexedDB - data stored in the form of objects, access to which is limited only for the relevant data sources - domains or subdomains from which they were saved,2) Session Storage - a data store that is equivalent to cookies, but with a much larger data capacity. The data stored in the Session Storage store is deleted after closing the browser window,3) Local Storage - the data store into which information is stored permanently in the user's web browser until it is deleted.

III. EXTERNAL ENTITIES

1. The Administrator informs that cookies may also be placed and used by external entities. The Service website contains embedded buttons, tools or content directed to services and websites of service providers (e.g. Google LLC, Facebook Ireland Ltd.) and other entities cooperating with the Administrator. The use of these applications may result in the transfer of information to the indicated external entities using cookies and similar technologies.2. The administrator recommends that after switching to other websites, the user reads the cookie policy of the indicated external entities.

IV. HOW TO HANDLE COOKIES AND OTHER TECHNOLOGIES

1. The Platform User may make choices regarding the use of cookies by the Administrator and third parties (in particular analytical and marketing files). Changing the cookie settings may affect the quality of using the services or prevent the use of some services and functionality of the Service (e.g. in the case of disabling the use of cookies necessary for the proper functioning of the website, saving the settings regarding the user's preferences).2. The User may at any time withdraw consent to the use of specific cookies (e.g. for analytical and marketing purposes) by changing the settings, which does not affect the legality of the data processing process before withdrawal of consent.3. You can also change your cookie settings or disable cookies at any time in your web browser. If the user does not change the default browser settings for data collection files, these files willbe placed on the end device and will be used in accordance with the rules set by the provider of the web browser.4.
