Upon arrival, visit Lake Qarun, one of Egypt's largest saltwater lakes, known for its serene beauty and ideal birdwatching opportunities. Continue to Wadi El Rayan, where you'll marvel at the famous waterfalls and the surrounding desert landscape. Afterward, enjoy a delicious traditional Fayoum lunch at a local restaurant, sampling authentic regional flavors. The afternoon promises adventure with a thrilling 4x4 desert safari in Wadi El Rayan. Experience the excitement of sandboarding on the towering dunes and immerse yourself in the natural beauty of this protected area. As the evening sets in, check in at a comfortable desert camp or eco-lodge. Relish a traditional Bedouin dinner under the stars, followed by a night of relaxation around a campfire. Sleep amidst the tranquility of the desert.

Day 2: Begin your day with a hearty breakfast in the serene setting of the desert camp. Then, head to Wadi Al-Hitan (Valley of the Whales), a UNESCO World Heritage site. Explore the ancient fossils of marine life that date back millions of years and learn about the geological history of this fascinating region. Optionally, visit other scenic spots in Fayoum, such as Tunis Village, renowned for its pottery artisans, or the Magic Lake for additional relaxation. Savor a final Fayoum lunch at a local café before starting your return journey to Cairo. You’ll arrive in the late afternoon, concluding your memorable adventure in the Fayoum Oasis.
