Program Description
A night trip to Mount Sinai (2285 m a.s.l.), where Moses received the Tablet with the Ten Commandments from God. Admiring a unique sunrise and climbing down the mountain hill to St. Catherine's monastery erected around 530 B.C., which belongs to the Greek Orthodox church and has valuable collections: Bizantine mosaics from the 6th century, a collection of icons of St John the Baptist, the Virgin Mary, Jesus and St Catherine. Chosen guided language available subject to minimal number of participants.
