Caves and beaches of the Algarve - Benagil Express

Set off on an unforgettable cruise along the spectacular Algarve coastline and discover its hidden gems. This experience offers a unique opportunity to admire dramatic cliffs, sea caves and picturesque beaches from the ocean perspective.

The tour begins at Clube Naval de Portimão, where the boat sets off towards impressive rock formations and hidden grottoes. One of the highlights is entering the sea caves, where small beaches are tucked away and stunning natural formations have been shaped over thousands of years.

The cruise then continues along the Arade River, offering panoramic views of Portimão. From the deck, you will see the charming fishing village of Ferragudo and the historic Castelo de Ferragudo, dating back to the 15th century.

Back on the open sea, the route passes some of the Algarve’s most iconic spots, including Ponta do Altar lighthouse and beautiful beaches such as Praia da Rocha, Praia Grande, Carvoeiro, Praia da Marinha and Benagil. Depending on weather conditions, there may be an opportunity to swim in the ocean near one of the beaches.

At the end of the experience, you will return by catamaran to Portimão, enjoying the coastal scenery once more.
