Program Description
Travel back in time and discover more than 2,000 years of Vienna’s history during an interactive journey through some of the city’s most important historical periods. Set in a historic venue in central Vienna, the attraction combines storytelling with sound and light effects, animations and virtual reality.
Discover Vienna’s beginnings as a Roman military camp, then travel through the era of the Habsburg dynasty and the city’s rich musical heritage. 5D cinema, virtual reality and multimedia presentations bring Vienna’s history to life in an engaging way.
The experience also includes a visit to a replica air raid shelter, followed by a virtual horse-drawn carriage ride over Vienna. The entire experience lasts approximately 60 minutes and combines history with entertainment and immersive visual and sound effects.
The tour is conducted in German, with audio guides available in 10 languages for international visitors.
Important information
- Tours depart every 20 minutes - at 00, 20 and 40 past the hour. The last tour departs at 7:00 pm.
- The guided tour is conducted in German. An audio guide is available in other languages.
- Children aged 0-4 enter free of charge and do not require a ticket.
- Getting there: Metro U3 to Herrengasse or U1 to Stephansplatz; bus line 2A to Habsburgergasse.
- Show your smartphone ticket at the front desk entrance.
- Last admission before the venue closes: 1:00 am.
Vouchers
- You'll receive your voucher via email, immediately after booking.
- To gain entry, you'll need to exchange it for the actual entrance ticket.
- Show your voucher to the local representative, who will issue your entrance ticket, or contact the tour operator for help (contact details are in your confirmation email and on the voucher).
