Program Description
Discover the underwater world during an Intro Dive, your first diving experience under the direct supervision of an instructor. The programme is designed to introduce you step by step to the basics of diving, equipment and safety procedures before you enjoy a relaxed dive underwater.
Before starting the activity, you will complete a medical questionnaire and provide the required information for diving insurance. Every person entering the water must have additional insurance covering diving activities. The necessary formalities take only a few minutes.
The first stage is a short theoretical introduction. Your instructor will explain how the human body responds to increased pressure underwater, introduce basic diving physics and medicine, and discuss the effects of the gases you breathe. You will also learn essential safety principles and basic underwater signals used to communicate with your instructor. The session is presented in an accessible way and can be adapted to participants of different ages, including children.
You will then become familiar with the diving equipment. The instructor will introduce the different pieces of equipment, explain how they work and help you adjust them correctly. With some assistance, you will put on your first scuba gear and prepare to enter the water.
The next stage consists of water exercises. You will gradually get used to being underwater and breathing through the regulator. A series of simple exercises will help you feel more comfortable beneath the surface and learn basic diving signals. The exercises take place in the shallow part of the bay, where conditions are similar to those in a swimming pool. If you feel uncomfortable at any point, you can stand up and raise your head above the surface. Once you are confident with the basic exercises, you will move on to the actual dive.
Finally, enjoy approximately 40-50 minutes of diving under the supervision of an instructor. This is your opportunity to explore the underwater world at a relaxed pace and observe its marine life. During the dive, photos will also be taken. You will receive a complimentary film or set of photos as a keepsake from your first underwater experience.

Important information
Children must be at least 8 years old to scuba dive.
Children aged 8-10 can scuba dive in groups of up to 2 divers per instructor. For example, a family of two parents and one child under 10 would require 2 instructors.
Groups consisting of adults and children aged 10 and over are limited to a maximum of 4 divers per instructor.
Scuba diving is not permitted within 18 hours before a flight.
