Discover Amsterdam by bike and explore the city at your own pace. Cycling is a great way to travel along the famous canals, reach different parts of the city and experience one of Europe's most bike-friendly capitals.

You'll receive a Dutch-style bicycle designed for a comfortable, upright riding position. Reliable brakes, easy-to-use gears and sturdy tyres provide comfort and confidence as you make your way through the city.

Cycle alongside the Amsterdam canals, explore historic streets and decide for yourself where you would like to stop along the way. Travelling by bike combines an active experience with the freedom to discover the city at your own pace.

Important information
  • Please dress appropriately for the weather. Bringing your own rain jacket is recommended.
  • The staff will help you select a bike suited to your requirements and explain how to use the brakes, locks and other features.
  • Please show your ticket at the service desk when collecting your bike.
  • Bikes can be collected from several locations in Amsterdam, including near Vondelpark, Leidseplein, the city centre, Rembrandt Square and Central Station.
  • Your exact pick-up location will be provided on your voucher and in your confirmation email.
