Program Description
Discover the fascinating story of our planet in a place where science, nature and innovation come together in one inspiring experience. Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi takes you on a journey across billions of years – from the Big Bang to visions of Earth’s future. It is an ideal attraction for curious minds, families with children and anyone eager to explore the wonders of the natural world.
Located in the prestigious cultural district on Saadiyat Island, the museum sits among Abu Dhabi’s leading institutions of art and knowledge. From the very beginning, you will immerse yourself in spectacular exhibitions – admire impressive dinosaur skeletons, explore an extensive collection of fossils, meteorites and rare natural specimens, and walk through modern galleries presenting the evolution of life on Earth.
As you move through the themed zones, you will encounter diverse ecosystems – from icy tundras to vast desert landscapes. Life-sized displays and immersive installations make you feel as if you are travelling through time. You can also look inside palaeontology and life science laboratories, where research into Earth’s past brings science to life and reveals how discoveries are made.
For younger explorers, the dedicated Dino Play Zone offers the chance to dig for fossils and interact with dinosaur models. It is a space where learning blends naturally with play, encouraging curiosity and imagination.
The museum is well equipped for a comfortable visit, offering WiFi, locker storage, family rooms and prayer spaces. Every detail is designed to ensure an enjoyable and accessible experience for all visitors.
