Transfer from the hotels. The first stop on the tour is a visit to The Limestone Heritage Park & Gardens, an old limestone quarry located in the traditional Maltese village of Siġġiewi. In the past, the quarry provided stone for the construction of many historic buildings and has now been transformed into a tourist attraction. Next, we will drive to the archaeological site of Hagar Qim - the remains of a megalithic temple, offering a beautiful view of the Mediterranean Sea and Filfla islet. Following this, we will visit the village of Wied iz-Zurrieq with an optional opportunity to take a boat to the Blue Grotto, known for its crystal-clear water (available at an additional cost, depending on weather conditions). After a break for lunch, the tour continues to the picturesque village of Marsaxlokk with its fishing harbor and traditional colorful luzzu boats. Here, you can observe the daily life of the locals and explore the market with local preserves, seafood, and souvenirs. Finally, visit the karst cave of Għar Dalam, home to the remains of animals that lived during the Ice Age. Human remains, dating back 7400 years, were also discovered during excavations. Due to its paleontological and archaeological significance, the site is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Malta. Return to the hotels.
